Terhune holds graduate degrees in fine arts and design from Syracuse University in New York and Ball State University in Indiana.

She has worked in the arts most of her life and grew up with her father’s commercial art business. Terhune studied with renowned Italian muralist, Nicola Vigini, completing courses in trompe l’oeil and decorative faux effects. She uses the knowledge of faux effects in some mural paintings.

Roxane can paint from referenced photographs and has a vast library, if you have a particular interest which may require research prior to beginning the design process.
